Chief Administrative Officer Brenna Ackerman
Brenna is the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) for the Town of Grenfell, covering a maternity leave. Brenna proves herself to be a wealth of information, with a revolving door of inquiring residents (and staff). Brenna ensures the Town is in compliance with provincial regulations and navigates municipal council, providing administrative support and recommendations.
Financial Officer Jessica Carles
Jessica, “the finance guru”, is responsible for keeping Town operations and resident accounts in check and balance. She spends her days balancing the books, completing payroll, and managing accounts – ensuring our bills are paid, our lights are on and the residents are taken care of.
Director of Recreation & Culture Andrea Nicholl
Andrea is the temporary director of recreation and culture for the Town of Grenfell. Her daily responsibilities include special event planning; the organization and promotion of programming; the application and securement of grant funding; the management of social media and website, and any related items that may arise.
Office Assistant Suzette Stone
Suzette is the face and voice that greets you into our office. Suzette works as the office clerk and is a wealth of information; she will help to process your utilities and tax payments; answer frequently asked questions; and assist you with permit/ licences required for business, development and more. Suzette is also knowledgeable on all things related to the Grenfell cemetery.
Public Works Foreman Keith Sparkman 697-7763
Keith joined the Town of Grenfell as Superintendent of Public Works in June 2018. Keith is responsible for the oversight of the Public Works department, and is the point of contact for water/sewer related emergencies. Keith oversees facility and infrastructure management, maintenance, and operation.
Public Works Staff Greg Smith 697-7375
Greg is a well-rounded “handyman” when it comes to infrastructure and equipment maintenance, repair, and operation. He can be spotted operating the grader, loader or mower year-round, and is a familiar face for those requesting line locates or garden refuse pickup.
Public Works Staff Dwayne Stone 697-7801
Dwayne wears many hats — working for the Town of Grenfell as a Public Works employee, and also the Fire Chief of the local volunteer fire department. Dwayne is knowledgeable in emergency planning and preparedness and is certified and responsible for monitoring and maintaining the Town’s reverse osmosis water treatment plant.
Public Works Staff Kelvin Kardash 697-7901
Kelvin is the friendly face you’ll meet at our Transfer Station during operating hours Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Kalvin also works to keep our community clean and tidy, working with Public Works to maintain sidewalks and roadways in the winter and mowing grass in the summer.
