Grenfell’s Adare Museum has a wide collection of artifacts and a military display, historical map of the area and a 1949 Fargo fire truck. The museum is a Queen Anne revival style home built in 1904 by Mr. and Mrs. Edward Fitz-Gerald, the editor and publisher of the first local newspaper in Grenfell in 1894. The museum is wonderfully restored and features many other pioneer artifacts and displays chronicling the history of the Grenfell area.
It is located at 711 Wolseley Avenue, Grenfell, SK operating during the warmer months of June-August. Hours of operation are Friday through Sunday or upon special request.
