Heritage Programs

Grenfell’s Adare Museum has a wide collection of artifacts and a military display, historical map of the area and a 1949 Fargo fire truck. The museum is a Queen Anne revival style home  built in 1904 by Mr. and Mrs. Edward Fitz-Gerald, the editor and publisher of the first local newspaper in Grenfell in 1894. The museum is wonderfully restored and features many other 5f10d56a-b915-414f-9e50-ead0a596587a_d_400_266_90pioneer artifacts and displays chronicling the history of the Grenfell area.

It is located at 711 Wolseley Avenue, Grenfell, SK operating during the warmer months of June-August. Hours of operation are Friday through Sunday or upon special request.
