Grenfell has an Emergency Alert Siren that is activated upon the determination of a town-wide emergency situation, this is put in motion by the Emergency Measures Organization (EMO) if and when necessary. This Emergency Alert Siren is located at the Grenfell Fire Department, and is tested once per month on the first Tuesday of each month. The Emergency Alert Siren will sound on April 12th, rather than April 5th. If you do hear this Emergency Alert Siren at any time other than during its regular testing schedule, please practice caution and contact the Town Office or tune in to social media for further information and/or direction.
