Grenfell Paratransit Service (Transit Bus) 

The Grenfell Transit Bus is a paratransit service that provides transportation in and around Grenfell. The Transit Bus operates Tuesdays and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. – 4 p.m., and may be reserved by special request. Rides can be booked in advance, or may be requested the day of need. 

The cost is $2.00 a day for in-town trips and .50 cents per loaded kilometre for out-of-town trips. The Town of Grenfell is able to provide this service at such a nominal fee, thanks in part to the sponsorship/ride subsidy provide by Hometown Co-op, the Grenfell Legion Branch, and the Grenfell & District Lions Club. 

Transit can be booked Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. by calling 306-697-7800. 

 


Passenger Rail Service 

Passenger rail service is available 35 minutes (70 kilometres) north of Grenfell in Melville, Saskatchewan. Departure days are Thursdays and Sundays, with destinations to various locations throughout Canada. 

The CN Train Station is located at the intersection of Main Street and 1st Avenue, and provides the following services:
