Residential Curbside Collection
The Town of Grenfell Residential Curbside Garbage (black bin) is collected by Loraas Disposal on a bi-weekly basis, on alternating weeks the Residential Curbside Recycle (blue bin) is collected by Loraas. If you require an additional bin, please call the Town Office.
The Town of Grenfell does not have a curbside compost collection program; compost can be taken to and disposed of at the Transfer Station free of charge.
Grenfell Transfer Station
Available to Town of Grenfell residents only.
The Grenfell Transfer Station is located on Cemetery Road (RR2074), just south of Highway 1, along Highway 47 North.
The winter hours of operation (in effect November 1 - April 31 each year) are as follows:
Tuesday, Wednesday, & Saturday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Closed holidays
The summer hours of operation (in effect from May 1 - October 31 each year) are as follows:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Cash or cheque only accepted at the Transfer Station.
Shingles and demolition items are not accepted at the Transfer Station. Alternative disposal options are transporting and disposing at the Landfill located in Kipling, or renting a disposal bin from Loraas Disposal. |
