The Town of Grenfell has reintroduced Grenfell Bucks, a community currency that is intended to stimulate the local economy and support small businesses.
Grenfell Bucks is a local currency worth the same as the Canadian Dollar, but with added benefits. Each time you accept and spend Grenfell Bucks you will be directly supporting local employment and businesses.
The Grenfell Bucks will have security features and no expiry date, so they're great to pass on. Support and participate in the program by purchasing the currency as a gift for a loved one or for yourself, use it at local establishments, and accept it as your change.
$2, $5, $10, $20 and $50 denominations are available and can be purchased at the Town Office.
If you would like to accept Grenfell Bucks at your business, register here.
Shop local, support local - use your Grenfell Bucks.
